Serbian Water Polo Player Provisionally Suspended


The Seribian water polo player Nikola Raden has been provisionally suspended by the FINA.

 

The athlete tested positive for Cocaine after the game Spain-Serbia of the FINA Water Polo World League held in Madrid, Spain on February 17, 2015. Following the results management process and in accordance with the FINA DC Rule 7.9.1, the FINA Executive decided to impose a Provisional Suspension on the athlete until a hearing before the FINA Doping Panel can be made. The Provisional Suspension started on May 7, 2015.
