The Spanish Agency for the Protection of Health in Sport (AEPSAD) promotes agreement where both coaches and athletes sign their engagement with clean sport.

The Spanish Agency for the Protection of Health in Sport (AEPSAD) has introduced the Coach-Athlete Antidoping Statement project, a document by which all coaches and athletes who wish to do so, signs an agreement to state their determination to compete within a doping-free sport. This statement, elaborated by AEPSAD, includes seven items, through which athletes and coaches reject doping and commit to cooperate with the authority in promoting a clean sport standing against the use of doping substances and methods, stating this within their own sport environment and through media. According to AEPSAD, this commitment proves essential to promote respect towards sport – values and game regulation, while bearing in mind the importance of the coach. This statement shall be another useful tool for coaches who have been longing for a way to directly participate in education and doping prevention. Coaches play a main role within AEPSAD´s Antidoping Program and their commitment is essential to create a fully clean-sport doping-free environment.
