French cyclist suspended for four years for EPO


The french cyclist Lloyd Mondory has been suspended for four years by the UCI Anti-Doping Tribunal.

 

The sample was colleced out of competition on February 17. EPO is the most used prohibited substance in cycling. So far The Anti-Doping Database has registered no less than 176 cases involving EPO in the sport.That is more than twice as many that has been suspended after testing positive for testosterone. With 193 cases, Italy is the country with the most doping casis in cycling. France has 93 in second place. So far we have registered nine cases in cycling this year. In 2014 we registered 44 cases, while in 2013 there were 88.
